Export submissions to CSV
This guide is for the Primary Owner or a Manager with full owner-level access who can open Settings → Admin. You will download UTF-8 CSV files containing submission columns for spreadsheets, legal discovery, or migrations. Treat exports as sensitive personal data under your retention policy.
- You can open Settings → Admin (path-based URL
…/dashboard/settings/toolsin many installs). - You understand a full-database export may be large and slow.
You reach the Admin tab that hosts CSV export, licence management, Check for updates, and Install update now (Primary Owner only for the latter).
- Sign in as Primary Owner or a Manager granted owner-level tools.
- Open Settings → Admin.
Screenshot. Show the settings sidebar with Admin selected.
You bound the rows included in the CSV stream.
- Locate the Export leads (or similarly named) block.
- Choose All time only when you intend to stream every submission.
- Or choose Date range and enter
YYYY-MM-DDstart and end dates exactly as the form requests.
The browser receives a single CSV attachment.
- Submit the export form.
- Confirm the download filename begins with
wckd-leads-as implemented in code. - Open the file in a spreadsheet tool and select UTF-8 when an importer asks for encoding.
You spot-check that the export matches expectations before sharing it.
- Filter Leads to the same date window (when you used a range export) and compare approximate counts to the CSV row count.
- Confirm sensitive columns you expected are present or absent according to policy.
Warning. CSV files contain personal data from submissions; store and share them only under your company retention and privacy rules.
- No export button: the signed-in user lacks access to Settings → Admin; ask the Primary Owner to grant full-access Manager or use an owner account.
- Browser timeout on all-time export: narrow the date range or run the export during off-hours.
- Mojibake in Excel: import using UTF-8 explicitly; Excel defaults may mis-detect encoding.
- People & access: who may receive full-access Manager.
- Inbox & leads: row-level review before exporting.
- Operations: timezone affects date-bounded exports.
